St Mary's Patronal Festival
St Mary's Anglican Church in Montville will celebrate its patronal festival on August 10th, 2025, at 9 am, featuring guest speaker Revd. Dr Lucy Morris. The church, established in 1914, has a rich history of community involvement and resilience, having survived numerous challenges over the years.
St Mary's Church has been a central part of the Montville Community for 111 years, hosting many important events such as baptisms and weddings (one famous weekend actually hosted 7 (seven) weddings).
The church remains open daily for quiet reflection and hosts weekly services, inviting both locals and visitors to participate. People from all over the world come to visit and leave messages of love and appreciation in the visitors book at the back of the church.
Our patronal festival provides a special moment in the year. Current and former parishioners, local residents and visitors are all invited to come and join us to celebrate.
